Original Work of World Renowned Artist David Schluss on Display
On a Building in Coral Springs

It is quite difficult to find true art in our city of
Coral Springs...but I have found it: Real
art from the hands of world class artist David Schluss.
 Imagine
my surprise to find an incredible display of artistic
genius by a world famous artist, David Schluss revealed
on the walls of a building and its dumpster at the
Chabad Synagogue located on University Drive North of
Sample road.
With several thousand dollars being paid
for lithograph and tens of thousands paid for originals
created by David Schluss you can imagine how valuable
any display of his works would be. Not just
any painting....these walls were donated by him, his sweat his
emotion and spirit emanating from his fingers (he never
uses a brush) to portray a "Neshuma" or spiritual
display of angels playing musical songs to the Lord.
The
circumstances that so moved David in producing this
genius was when in 2002 some kids decided to paint
swastikas on the synagogue walls.

heard about it and decided to transform the hatred into
something magnificent. Armed with his own weapons to
combat evil, (paint, his fingers , mind
and spirit) and together with the children from the
community following his direction , David
transformed the desecration into beauty, providing
us hope that any evil can be converted to good if we so
desire to change it.
There it is. Drive into the parking lot and continue to
the east edge and look to your right. Before you will
be a heavenly display of his works vibrating your
spirit. Early morning, the sun coming from the
east lights up the wall as worshipers in the synagogue
pass the angels on their way to pray...
This is true art......
(Editors Note: Please respect the
synagogue by not driving into the parking area on
Saturdays or Jewish holidays. You can walk there
any time of course.....why not leave a small donation to
the synagogue so that they can maintain this masterpiece
...)
